Inform their instructor of any medical conditions, disabilities, or prescribed medication that may affect their ability to drive safely.
Declare any changes in their health or medication during the course of tuition.
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in the termination of lessons.
2. Legal Requirements
Pupils must:
Be at least 17 years of age (or 16 if receiving the higher rate of the mobility component of Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment).
Hold a valid provisional driving licence for the UK.
Produce their provisional licence at the first lesson.
Comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Follow the reasonable instructions of their instructor at all times.
3. Instructors and Payment
All instructors are self-employed franchisees of Se7en Driving School Ltd.
Your contract is with your instructor personally.
Your instructor is responsible for providing the services you have paid for.
All lessons must be paid for in advance, either directly to your instructor or via an agreed payment method (cash, cheque, or bank transfer).
Block bookings must be paid for in full prior to the start of the first lesson in the block.
4. Cancellation by the Instructor
Lessons may be cancelled at short notice due to adverse weather, vehicle faults, instructor illness, or other emergencies.
Every effort will be made to notify the pupil as soon as possible.
Cancelled lessons will be rearranged at a mutually convenient time.
5. Cancellation by the Pupil
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice must be given to cancel a lesson, otherwise, the lesson will be charged in full.
Cancellations must be confirmed by text to the instructor.
If a pupil repeatedly cancels lessons, the instructor reserves the right to:
Require a longer notice period for cancellations.
Insist on prepayment for all future lessons.
6. Driving Test Performance
While the instructor will provide appropriate guidance and preparation, the outcome of a driving test cannot be guaranteed.
Test results depend on the pupil’s performance on the day and are determined by the DVSA examiner.
No guarantee of a pass is given.
7. Driving Test Booking
Instructors may refuse to take pupils to their practical driving test if they believe the pupil is not ready, or if the pupil’s behaviour is unacceptable.
Driving tests must only be booked with the prior agreement of your instructor.
You will only be taken to your test if your instructor believes you have reached the required standard. This decision is at the sole discretion of your instructor.
8. General
Se7en Driving School Ltd. and its instructors are not liable for any loss or damage except where caused by negligence.
Pupils are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
These terms and conditions are governed by English law.
